Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring part-time and full-time Certified Medication Technicians for Evening and Overnight shifts at the Eastern Shore location in Salisbury, MD. The role supports medical care, medication management, and coordination with clinical teams to aid patient treatment and recovery.

Requires CPR certification, MD Medication Technician licensure, and a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Valid licensure to serve as a Medication Technician in MD.
• Knowledge of substance use and its bio-psychosocial consequences.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborative, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, timely medical care to stabilize clients and support treatment engagement.
• Assist with all nursing shift duties (vitals, drug screens, medication management, charting and reporting).
• Collaborate with medical and clinical teams for coordinated care.
• Manage, order and restock medical supplies.
• Schedule medical appointments and arrange post-discharge aftercare.
• Support pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations.
