Job summary

RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is hiring an Order Selector in Lansing, MI for the second shift (2:30 pm-11:00 pm or until completion). You will select, transport, and prep products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in receipt and shipment while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, using RF scanners, and maintaining inventory records. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• 1 year forklift experience and safety protocol adherence.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs frequently.
• Comfort with environmental conditions (heat/cold, noise, dust).
• Comfortable with heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of forklifts including stand-up and order picker.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement.
• Receive, pick and transport product throughout the warehouse.
• Stack, palletize, tote and store product safely and efficiently.
• Maintain shipping, receiving and inventory records with proper documentation.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized; follow safety protocols including PPE.
