Job summary

RJ Schinner Co. is hiring for a Warehouse Associate on the 2nd shift in Lansing, MI. The role involves picking, packing, and transporting products, using RF scanners, and maintaining accurate inventory and safety standards.

The position is full-time with a 2:30 pm-11:00 pm shift, Monday-Friday or until completion. Eligible for medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, holidays, and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience required.
• 1 year of forklift experience and ability to follow safety protocols.
• High degree of attention to detail required.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs frequently.
• Exposure to heat/cold, noise and dust in a warehouse environment.
• Comfortable with heights.

Responsibilities

• Operate different types of forklifts including stand-up and order picker.
• Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement.
• Receive, pick and transport product throughout the warehouse.
• Stack, palletize, tote, and store product safely and efficiently.
• Maintain shipping, receiving and inventory records with proper documentation.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Support with all duties to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Internal advancement opportunities and employee appreciation events.
