Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Order Picker (Forklift Operator) for the 2nd shift in Duncan, SC. Core hours are 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with potential overtime to 12:30 am or 1:30 am. The position pays $23.00 per hour, including a $1.25 shift premium.

Salary is a guideline and may vary by skills and experience. Responsibilities include operating reach trucks and order pickers, scanning, packing, and shipping duties, plus restocking and inventory verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
• Eaton will not sponsor work visas for this position. No CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or similar programs.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Duncan, SC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach truck and order picker to retrieve materials from warehouse locations using appropriate picking process.
• Place materials in containers, visually inspect the product, verify with scanning equipment if required, and verify accuracy of product count.
• Unload and stage pallets in Shipping; generate print move tickets and restock locations using LXE scanners.
• Verify styles and quantities, place in shipping carton, and apply packing materials and labels to prevent damage.
• Generate shipping labels and load onto designated carrier; resolve discrepancies to ensure order accuracy.
• Maintain safety and quality workmanship; observe procedures and report unsafe acts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
