Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care in an acute‑care setting, using the nursing process to address physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs.

You will develop individualized care plans with patients and their designated care partner, incorporating cultural beliefs and values while collaborating with interprofessional teams. A BSN is preferred, with current RN licensure and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice; BLS required
• Experience as an RN in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, patients, and families in line with Jefferson Health values.

• Educates patients and families on condition, treatment, medications, and next steps.
• Minimizes risk by following established nursing practices and protocols.

• Partners with patients and families to develop discharge plans and follow-up care.
