Job summary

• Order and stock anesthesia medications and monitor expiration dates.
• Assist with patient care under Anesthesiologists and RN Circulator.
• Maintain and safety check anesthesia equipment per guidelines.
• Know universal precautions in dealing with patients and equipment.
• Engage in teaching others in specifics of the department.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate purchases for equipment and supplies.
• Keep anesthesia supply room and ORs clean and organized.
• Coordinate purchases with OR Supply Coordinator and Material Services.
• Participate in department QA/QI program.
