Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated team member for the Evening shift at 90 Blossom Street in Boston. This onsite role supports patient care in the operating room, with 40 scheduled hours weekly and a 100PM–930PM, Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekends.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, 0–1 year hospital or medical office experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team while ensuring patient safety and accurate

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and hospital staff.

• Attention to safety and proper patient transfer procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-focused care through cordial greeting and interactions.
• Provides hospital/unit orientation information for guests, patients and families.
• Demonstrates awareness of hospital systems and departmental procedures.
• Transports and assists in patient transfers.
• Identifies patients using two approved identifiers.
• Ensures safety during patient transfers (bedrails, coverings).
• Assists in maintaining OR schedule and readiness for procedures.
