Job summary

Tandem Foods in Bloomington, CA seeks an energetic Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and collaborates with production, line leads, supervisors, and maintenance counterparts to keep equipment running.

You will perform preventive and repair work on motors, conveyors, packaging, and utility machinery, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and assist Engineering on improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced setting.
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving.
• Familiar with PLCs and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Provide emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Document actions and communicate issues to teams.
• Assist Engineering on new projects and process improvements.
