Job summary

Foothills Education Charter High School is seeking an Evening Virtual Foothills Math Teacher to instruct students online from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, reporting to the Site Director. The ideal candidate has experience with virtual instruction, knowledge of online learning best practices, and is comfortable using Canvas for course delivery and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with valid Georgia teaching certificate.
• High school teaching experience preferred; knowledge of GSE required.
• Experience with virtual learning environments preferred.
• Must complete Online Teaching Course in Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students using various teaching methods to supplement content.
• Promote engagement by continually assessing student abilities and outcomes.
• Mentor and document performance of mentees with student services support.
• Participate in professional learning and apply classroom best practices.
