Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with Georgia teaching certificate is required.
• Highly qualified to teach assigned class per Georgia PSC.
• High school experience preferred; understanding of GSE required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in virtual environments, both written and oral.
• Experience with a virtual learning environment is preferred.
• Must complete Online Teaching Course in Canvas.
• Availability from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students using various teaching methods for online content.
• Promote engagement and assess student progress toward goals.
• Mentor mentees and coordinate with student services to meet needs.
• Participate in professional learning and apply best practices to improve learning.
• Manage time effectively and monitor student performance.
• Maintain accurate grade and attendance records and communicate with parents.
• Participate in virtual faculty meetings and training sessions.
