• Promote student engagement by continually assessing abilities relative to goals.
• Support and encourage students in their learning.
• Utilize time effectively in delivering instruction.
• Maintain classroom behavior to support learning environments and assist in behavior management.
• Collaborate in teams to review assessment data and adjust instruction.
• Maintain up-to-date student grade and attendance records.
• Communicate with parents in writing and verbally about student progress and behavior.
• Support school activities, events, and fundraisers.
• Supervise teacher assistants if applicable.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and training as directed.
• Meet performance and behavioral expectations of the site director.
• Complete staff evaluation processes including Foothills TKES.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
