Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital is seeking an on-call cleaner for West Hospital (140th & Pacific). Shifts cover Monday to Friday, 5:00 PM–11:00 PM, with responsibilities including floor care, carpet extraction, and upholstery cleaning.

The role involves operating heavy cleaning equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and coordinating with staff across departments. The ideal candidate is at least 23 years old with a valid driver's license, comfortable with routine maintenance of cleaning

Qualifications

Ability to communicate and maintain a satisfactory and harmonious working relationship with all levels of leadership, staff, public, and other consumers in a courteous and tactful manner.
Basic computer skills to document and report as required.
Minimum 23 years of age and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

Maintains floor surfaces and stairwells, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, polishing, scrubbing and refinishing hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
Vacuums, spot cleans, and extracts carpeted floor surfaces; cleans upholstered surfaces and furniture as needed.
Operates a truck-mounted cleaning unit for floors and upholstery restoration; troubleshoots equipment issues.
