Responsibilities include operating vacuums, auto scrub machines, buffers, and related tools, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety per MSDS guidelines. Night shifts and 40-hour weeks are required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma is required for this role.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining floor care and project-related equipment.
• Ability to work the night shift.
• Availability for 40 scheduled hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care, carpet care, terminal cleaning, disaster or emergency cleaning, and other non-routine cleaning.
• Improve the condition and appearance of the hospital using specific machinery and equipment.
• Operate commercial vacuums, auto scrub machines, cord burnishes, buffers, upright scrubbing machines, mops, and other necessary equipment and supplies.
• Perform general operational maintenance on floor care and project-related equipment.
• Check electrical cords and battery water levels; keep equipment clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Follow equipment sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Identify maintenance needs and report and tag broken equipment.
• Perform flood, disaster, terminal, and construction cleaning.
• Use chemicals and cleaning agents safely in accordance with MSDS guidelines and safety precautions.
• Train new employees in floor care methods, chemical and cleaning-agent use, and safety protocols.
