Job summary

White Castle in Columbus, OH is seeking an Office Maintenance Lead Associate to supervise the evening cleaning crew, provide training, and ensure high standards of cleanliness. This 2nd shift role runs Monday through Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

and requires taking ownership of task assignments, reporting, and safety in a fast-paced dining environment. You will perform floor care, dusting, trash removal, inventory monitoring, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain smooth operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or job-related training/experience.
• Ability to work evening hours (4:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.).
• Ability to lead and instruct cleaning crew.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Experience with cleaning equipment and floor care.

Responsibilities

• Clean, mop and wax floors and stairways.
• Dust furniture and office equipment.
• Vacuum and clean carpeting.
• Collect recycling and remove scrap paper, cardboard and trash of all types.
• Clean drinking fountains, restrooms, and glass.
• Replenish supplies.
• Operate trash compactor.
• Complete daily reports at end of each shift.
• Participate in disciplinary meetings, as required.
• Report any Team Member performance concerns to Supervisor.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and place supply orders as needed.
• Assign special cleaning tasks to cover shift shortages.
• Assure cleaning equipment is kept clean and in good working condition.
• Report repairs as needed.
