Job summary

Seacoast Rehab & Nursing Center in Gloucester, MA is seeking an Evening Nursing Supervisor (RN or LPN) to lead our nursing staff on short-term and long-term care units. Schedule: Monday–Friday 3 PM–11 PM, with a possible 24/16 split to fit needs; on-site role with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

You will oversee admissions, supervise nurses and CNAs, coordinate staffing, and support family inquiries while maintaining high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid unencumbered RN or LPN state license and current CPR certification.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience in hospital, nursing care center or related setting; one year in long-term care preferred.
• Experience in supervision and teaching; proficient with computer skills.
• Experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Weekend on-call rotation generally once every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome new admissions and oversee discharges.
• Supervise nurses and CNAs.
• Manage staffing changes.
• Support family inquiries and screen visitors.
• Coordinate patient/resident referrals with central admissions.
• Ensure high quality resident/patient care.
• Provide support to ancillary staff as needed.
