Job summary

River View on the Appomattox is seeking a Shift Supervisor for 3pm–11pm to lead licensed and non-licensed nursing staff. You will coordinate with physicians, labs, and pharmacies to ensure timely, safe patient care and participate in rounds and patient care planning.

The role requires an active Virginia nursing license, CPR certification, and prior nursing management experience, with weekend rotation expected. This is an on-site, full-time leadership position in Hopewell, VA.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license required.
• Two years nursing management in acute/post-acute or urgent care preferred.
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.
• Every Other Weekend Rotation a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs licensed and non-licensed nursing staff.
• Coordinate care with physicians/physician extenders, lab and pharmacy partners to ensure timely, safe care.
• Lead clinical rounds and report patient changes to the Director of Nursing.
• Perform patient assessments and document care plans.
• Conduct chart audits to ensure nursing care documentation is accurate and timely.
