The successful candidate will hold a BSN (MSN preferred), possess NY RN licensure, and have 1–3 years of clinical experience with 2+ years in related areas.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.

• Effective management skills to organize, direct and evaluate nursing/hospital personnel.
• Analytical skills for problem solving and clinical decision making.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Registered Nurse in New York required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of nursing practice in line with ANA Code and MMC policies.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of a specialized nursing unit in collaboration with the ANM.
• Direct and coordinate patient and unit activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Assist interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients.
• Participate in educational activities related to the clinical specialty and in clinical research studies.
