Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide patient-centered care during 12-hour evening shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support care teams under RN/LPN supervision.

The role also involves basic clerical tasks, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; CNA is preferred, and registry requirements vary by state.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
• If ND and not CNA, must be on the ND Nurse Aide Registry within 4 months or competency validation.
• If WI, must be on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility or student nurse with required training.

Responsabilités

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and meal preparation.
• Administer delegated tasks and treatments and record vital statistics.
• Collect non-invasive specimens as needed and perform related clerical scheduling tasks.
• Prepare patient treatment areas, clean equipment, and dispose of biomedical waste.
• Provide one-on-one care when necessary for safe provision of care.

Formation

High school diploma or GED

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred

North Dakota Nurse Aide Registry compliance upon completion of training/competency validation

Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry eligibility
