Job summary

New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist is seeking a Nurse Technician for a part-time evening role (3:30PM-midnight) at our Brooklyn Methodist location. 5 shifts biweekly, on-site duties to support patients and families with compassionate care alongside a registered nurse.

Must have relevant training and BCLS certification. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe, clean environment and collaboration within a clinical team to ensure high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant Program, with documentation of completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment.
• Demonstrate teamwork and raise the bar for patient care.
