Job summary

Jackson Memorial Long-Term Care Center in Miami seeks a Nurse Supervisor, SNF, to oversee a team of licensed nurses and support staff in the absence of the Nurse Manager. You will ensure crisis management, policy interpretation, and timely decisions impacting patient care, while maintaining high service standards.

This role requires 5–7 years of nursing experience, an active Florida RN license, and a strong background in CMS/AHCA readiness, shift coordination, and staff education.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida RN license.
• 5–7 years of related nursing experience.
• Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees LTC staff and maintains patient privacy; ensures CMS/AHCA readiness.
• Coordinates patient transfers and admissions with other departments.
• Manages coverage and on-call schedules; assigns patient care to nurses.
• Provides staff direction and assists in problem solving and customer complaints.
• Develops and updates SOPs; collects and analyzes data for quality improvement.
• Mentors staff and supports performance improvement and staff education.
