Job summary

Extended Care, LLC in Beecher, IL is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to direct day-to-day clinical operations and coordinate nursing units to deliver the highest quality of care for residents.

You will lead staff, supervise daily activities, complete documentation, administer medications per policy, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced environment while upholding ethics and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active Nursing License as required by the state.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Compliant with state Health Care Worker Background Check requirements.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to promote and facilitate teamwork among staff.
• High standard of ethics and professional integrity.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day activities of the clinical staff to ensure proper patient care.
• Complete required record-keeping and documentation upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to facility medication policies.
• Conduct daily rounds of nursing units and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Verify daily staffing levels and make adjustments to maintain proper ratios.
• Collaborate with charge nurses regarding resident care, conditions, and overall well-being.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure quick, appropriate actions are taken.
• Perform other duties as directed to enhance patient care and facility operations.
