Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking an experienced nurse administrator to provide continuity of supervision and operation during the PM shift, ensuring policies are followed and quality of care is maintained.

The role requires IL/WI RN licensure, CPR certification, at least 1 year of nursing service administration, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to make independent decisions while collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team to support residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• Minimum of one (1) year nursing service administration experience.
• Must possess current CPR certificate.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, personnel, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to ensure accurate nursing documentation including dashboard clearing and POC compliance.
• Coordinate dietary and pharmacy recommendations, and track surveillance antibiotic usage.
• Ensure PCC and POC documentation are completed by nursing staff and CNAs.
• Monitor and supervise all staff on duty and ensure medications and treatments are administered as ordered.
• Notify Department Heads and Administrator about immediate and other concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
