Marcella Post Acute is hiring an RN Supervisor to lead daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care. The role offers evening and night shifts, with shift differentials and same-day pay options. A Virginia RN license and current BLS CPR are required.

Training is provided for those without prior supervisory experience. You will oversee nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians and families to promote optimal resident outcomes in a 180-bed

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
