Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Iowa (or compact state)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Evidence-based practice and safety training per hospital policies
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and the healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care to assigned patients
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation of nursing care
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and post-discharge care
