Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations.
• Documents respiratory care accurately by following established charting procedures.
• Selects, assembles, and checks respiratory care equipment for proper operation and cleanliness; performs minor repairs as needed.
• Engages in professional development; attends in-services and participates in professional activities to stay current.
