• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by NBRC; BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure competence to function in new areas and adhere to policies.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and is ready for emergent situations.
• Participate in patient rounds and adjust therapy or ventilation as needed.
• Serve as a ventilator management resource and assist department teams.
• Attend department meetings and in-services regularly.
