Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 3 Years Clinical experience.
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing - REQUIRED.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training (Security) - Sharp - REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Delegates/assigns and communicates expectations for care delivery processes to each member of the team.
• Documents per department/entity guidelines of care and policies and procedures.
• Establishes a therapeutic relationship with patient and family.
• Helps coworkers improve performance and provides incidental teaching to team members.
• Provides age-appropriate patient education and coordinates discharge planning.
• Uses the nursing process and a critical thinking approach to plan and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates accountability for achieving patient outcomes and prioritizes resources to meet patient needs.
