Job summary

Emerson Health in Concord, MA is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support RNs and clinical staff in delivering compassionate patient care. You will work Eve/Night, 7p-7a, with a pay range of $19.00 - $25.00 per hour and will assist with direct patient care in a hospital environment.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and current enrollment in a nursing program; BLS certification is required, CNA strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be currently enrolled in a professional or practical nursing program.
• Acute care or hospital experience preferred.
• BLS Certification preferred; CNA certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Take and document vital signs and report changes promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transport as needed.
• Respond to call lights and maintain a safe environment.
• Operate telesitter monitoring when assigned and report issues.
• Support unit responsibilities and participate in safety initiatives.
