Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Infection Control Manual and adheres to policies.
• Participates in the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Delivers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders when allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
