Job summary

Qualified candidates will be licensed in California with preferred (not required) experience in nursing management and long-term care, including familiarity with Point Click Care

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred, not required.
• Long-term care experience.
• Point Click Care charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Educates families and patients.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives and transcribes physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
