Job summary

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in California.
• Minimum one year nursing management experience preferred.
• Experience in SNF/LTC settings preferred.
• Long term care experience.
• Point Click Care charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in and assists with implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, e.g., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
