Apploi in New York offers a full-time evening/night nursing role with competitive hourly wages and a sign-on bonus. New grads are welcome, with a starting rate around $29.58/hr, up to $33.15/hr and a possible $33.90/hr after adjustments. Benefits include 401(k), health and dental insurance, and paid time off.

The position requires 1 year of experience, a valid nursing license, and is performed at a single location with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of experience in resident care.
• Licensed or eligible for nursing license.
• Knowledge of safety and infection control.

Responsabilidades

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies.
• Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.
• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.
• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.
• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.
• Accurately administers external feedings.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.
• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.
• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.
