Qualifications

1 year of professional nursing experience
Current license, registration and/or certification required
Ability to work evening or overnight shifts

Responsibilities

Provides safe resident care, completing assigned treatments and procedures per standards and policies.
Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.
Incorporates age-specific needs, care, procedures and treatments.
Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care during breaks, transfers and shift reports.
Administers medications according to the five rights and documents them.
Performs treatments using sterile or clean technique.
Administers external feedings as required.
Completes resident care-related activities within shift times.
Cooperates with reassignments in the interest of resident care.
Reports problems and possible solutions to nursing management.
Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to nursing management.
