Job summary

Rochester Regional Health’s Unity Living Center in Rochester, NY is hiring a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for evenings and nights to care for long-term and post-acute residents. You will supervise CNAs, ensure accurate documentation, and deliver patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art 120-bed facility.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in rehab, IV therapy, dialysis, ventilator care, and pain management while pursuing BSN to MSN advancement with tuition support and robust benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Current LPN licensure in New York (LPN NY).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate medication administration and documentation.
• Perform treatments and document progress per physician orders.
• Maintain concise resident care documentation using the EMR system.
• Receive/give reports with staff per departmental protocols.
• Monitor residents and report status to charge nurse/physician.
• Assist in pre-reviews of MAR and complete MDS documentation.
