Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is seeking a PRN Concierge to greet residents, visitors and associates with a friendly, informed welcome. The role requires handling phone calls, directing inquiries, and providing support across the front desk and Hospitality Desk.

The position involves second and third shifts (3-11pm and 11pm-7am) with flexible days; prior customer service with older adults is preferred. Proficiency with basic computer tasks and Outlook is desirable.

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience that includes meeting the public and answering phones.
• Experience with older adults preferred.
• Proficiency with basic word processing and Outlook; Word/Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answers and directs telephone calls to residents and departments in a friendly and timely manner.
• Monitors security systems and assists with access control.
• Greeter service at Hospitality Desk.
• Direct visitors to appropriate department or person.
