Job summary

Okeena Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, TN is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist residents with daily activities, monitor vitals, and support comfort and well-being on evening and night shifts.

Full-Time or PRN positions available; prior long-term care experience is a plus. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered to dedicated staff.

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification in Tennessee
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators
• Observe residents' physical and emotional condition and report any concerns to supervisors
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meals, hydration and feeding as needed
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort
• Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and other team members
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs
