Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Security Officer in Newton, MA to maintain a safe and secure campus environment through vigilant monitoring, policy enforcement, and prompt incident responses. You will perform camera surveillance, access control, emergency readiness, and clear incident reporting while delivering professional customer service to staff and visitors.

This full-time role requires 18+, valid license, legal work status, and strong communication, with a schedule of 3:00 pm–11:00 pm or 11:00

Responsibilities

  • Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols.
  • Access Control: Verify IDs and issue visitor passes.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
  • Incident Reporting: Document incidents and observations.
  • Patrolling: Perform routine foot patrols of the facility.
  • Customer Service: Assist employees and visitors professionally.
  • Safety Inspections: Identify safety risks and report them.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handle disturbances calmly and professionally.
  • Collaboration: Work with team and emergency responders as needed.
