Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer in Newton, MA to maintain a safe campus environment. You will monitor premises, enforce policies, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include surveillance, access control, emergency response, and detailed incident reporting. Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid driver's license, and be legally authorized to work in the United States. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and communication.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Surveillance: Monitor security cameras and patrol to identify suspicious activity or hazards.
• Access Control: Verify IDs, issue visitor passes and restrict entry to authorized persons.
• Emergency Response: Respond to alarms, incidents and emergencies promptly.
• Incident Reporting: Document and report all incidents and concerns accurately.
• Patrolling: Conduct routine foot patrols of entrances, exits and surrounding areas.
• Customer Service: Assist and guide employees and visitors professionally.
• Safety Inspections: Identify safety risks and report unsafe conditions.
• Conflict Resolution: Calmly address disturbances and coordinate with team and responders.
