Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator for the 2nd shift (2 PM–10 PM) in Arlington, VA. This on-site role supports a modern, secure web services operation within CESO, requiring a TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification.

You will monitor networks, configure devices, and coordinate maintenance in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a BS in CS/IT with 4+ years of experience, hands-on routing (BGP/OSPF), VLAN work, and experience with IPsec tunnels.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification required (e.g., Security+ CE).
• BS in Computer Science or IT with 4+ years of experience.
• Willing to work 24x7 shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability.
• Experience configuring switches and routers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network connections and performance to ensure service availability.
• Identify risks and mitigate network issues.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance and security upgrades.
• Receive and review user requests for access to services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues; escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.
