Job summary

Leidos in Arlington, VA seeks a Network Administrator for the 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) to join the CESO effort, building a secure, automated web service platform. The role is on-site and focuses on monitoring, maintenance, and securing network infrastructure.

Qualified candidates have a TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security+ CE), a BS in CS/IT with 4+ years of experience, and comfort with night/weekend coverage. AWS/Palo Alto experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• DoD 8570 IAT level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required.
• BS in computer science or IT with 4+ years of experience; degree may be substituted with experience.
• Experience in network monitoring, security, and availability.
• Experience configuring network switches and routers; knowledge of VLANs.
• Experience with dynamic routing (BGP/OSPF) and 802.1x configuration.
• Experience troubleshooting S2S/IPsec tunnels and related security.
• Experience with Palo Alto devices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure availability.
• Identify risks and issues and take actions to mitigate them.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance, installation, and security.
• Receive and review user requests to resolve access issues.
• Troubleshoot network issues and escalate to senior engineers or vendors.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.
