Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for the MRI Department. You will operate MRI scanners, train staff, ensure patient safety, manage contrast administration, and document exams in EMR/PACS/HConnect. Collaboration with radiologists and nurses ensures top patient care.

The role emphasizes safety, QA involvement, and adherence to hospital standards with evening shifts and part-time hours.

Formación

• Graduation from an AMA/JRCERT accredited radiography program.
• Maryland Radiologic Technologist license required/active.
• ARRT MRI Advanced certification preferred; IV certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year MRI scanning experience; 3 years preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment proficiently.
• Train new staff in MRI procedures and safety.
• Identify and apply MRI safety protocols for patients with implants.
• Manage contrast administration and document in EMR/PACS/HConnect.
• Collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Contribute to QA/PI activities and departmental time management.
