Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, MLS or related field.
• ASCP or equivalent certification required; must pass within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to read, speak and write English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collect appropriate specimen samples as required.
• Ensure specimen identification is accurate during aliquoting and testing.
• Demonstrates competency in analytical tests on blood, urine, stool and body fluids per policy.
• Evaluates test results in light of clinical condition and testing conditions.
