Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for per-diem evening shifts.

Reporting to the General Laboratory Supervisor, you will perform high-complexity procedures across multiple lab sections, including blood bank/transfusion services, to ensure accurate patient results. A Bachelor’s degree and California CLS license are required; 2 years' experience as Generalist or Microbiologist is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License required upon hire.
• 2 years of experience after licensure preferred as Generalist or Microbiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures including high complexity in at least three laboratory sections, including blood bank/transfusion services.
