Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks a lab professional to perform routine testing across chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, molecular and microbiology. You will assist with specimen processing and follow hospital policies.

The role requires AS or BS in medical laboratory science, MT/MLT certification or eligibility, and the ability to work a full-time 2:00PM–10:30PM shift with rotating weekends/holidays. Epic/MediaLab knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard laboratory procedures and workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify causes, and propose alternatives.
• Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to adapt and react positively with coworkers.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to solve problems.
• Strong time management, prioritization and delegation skills.
• Good computer skills; familiarity with lab software is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of Epic and MediaLab is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation, molecular, and microbiology.
• Assist with specimen processing as needed.
• Follow employer and hospital policies.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory.
• Assist supervisor/manager with special projects/assignments.
