NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Mental Health Worker for Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) in the Psychiatry/Medicine department. You will observe and document patients, maintain a therapeutic relationship, and assist with daily activities for ECT services and the 11North unit.

This evening shift role runs Monday–Friday 3:30 pm–12:00 am with weekend coverage at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in psychiatry or related field.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to learning.
• Basic Life Support certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Observe and document patients’ physical, emotional and social behavior; report to nursing team.
• Maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and intervene during anxious times.
• Record vital signs and clinical information for the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide total care on patients as needed and support ECT services and 11North.
