Frederick Living is seeking a Memory Support Nurse Aide for part-time evening hours (2:30pm–11:00pm) with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The role provides direct care to residents in Aspen, focusing on independence and person-centered care, in a safe and supportive environment.

Starting rate is $17.25/hour with shift differential. Responsibilities include ADLs, meal assistance, hydration, redirection, med administration per physician orders, and maintaining resident records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Direct Care Staff certification required.
• Minimum dementia education 6 hours annually.
• Experience caring for older adults with cognitive impairments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, mobility).
• Support residents with eating, meal selection, cueing and hands-on help.
• Provide snacks and hydration throughout the day.
• Use redirection techniques for residents with cognitive impairments.
• Record and report eating habits and vital signs to the coordinator or nurse.
• Encourage participation in leisure activities and walking programs.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and death procedures.
• Maintain accurate resident records.
