Job summary

Excel Fitness in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Team Player to support daily club operations during evening shifts (Mon-Thu 4PM-9PM). Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting members, handling POS, inventory, and promotions, and ensuring safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
• Proficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Familiar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties during assigned shift.
• Maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure training is completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and up to Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete tasks with re-inspection.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to policies and guidelines.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and deliver high-level service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the shift.
• Understand and adhere to company standards and resolve issues.
• Audit inventory and discuss orders with GM/AM/Shift Lead.
• Stay updated on required certifications and training.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Promote memberships and assist with events and promotions.
• Ensure compliance with laws and insurance requirements.
• Assist members with equipment and amenities (Tanning, HydroMassage, etc.).
• Represent the company at community events.
