Job summary

Oakmont Management Group operates IVY Park at Salinas, a premier senior living community seeking a Medication Technician. The role involves supervising and assisting in medication administration, providing direct care, and encouraging resident participation in activities within established standards.

Shifts are Friday–Monday, 2pm–10pm, with competitive pay of $19.00–$21.00 per hour. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience assisting with medications at an RCFE.
• Must be 18+; HS diploma or equivalent; LVN a plus.
• Must pass background and health screenings (including TB).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute medication to residents.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies, and physicians.
• Track medication changes, refills, and deliveries with pharmacies.
• Maintain accurate, confidential resident medication and care records.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
