Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician to document, deliver and administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians, with a strong focus on customer service and adherence to all policies, regulations, and guidelines. The role requires ensuring safety and confidentiality while supporting daily activities and care.

The position offers part-time scheduling with a pay range of $19.00–$21.00 per hour, typically Sundays and Mondays, 2:00pm-10:30pm, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Experience handling medications preferred but on the job training is available.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments and care as assigned.
• Observe, verify and document medication ingestion or application as directed.
• Coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacy and physicians and verify dosages.
• Maintain accurate records on resident medication and care.
• Participate in narcotic counts and report discrepancies.
