Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Medication Technician for the Thousand Oaks location. The role involves assisting residents with medications and daily living activities, documenting passes and notes, and ensuring compliance with policies and HIPAA.

Schedule: Tue–Sat, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm, pay range $21.50–$23.00/hr. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and 1+ year of related healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English and follow directions.
• Must be comfortable with technology for documentation of medication passes and notes.
• Must meet state regulatory requirements and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medications and daily care as assigned.
• Document medication administration and incidents accurately.
• Notify supervisor of any deviations or issues with medications.
• Maintain confidential records and follow policies and regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and resident requests.
